Next milestone - Pass my GPEN exam
I've just got back home from SANS London 2010 and I need to start swatting up for my GPEN exam. I've always said to myself that I'll take the exam in late January or early February but it always ends up being the week before the deadline expires. NO MORE :-)
I aced my GCIH (SEC 504), but GAWN (SEC 617) was hard work, and I think I could have done better had I planned a little better. Bluetooth was defiantly my weak spot on that exam and I wish I had spent more time on it.
With xmas coming up I don't think I'm going to have much time to revise before the new year so I might try and get the reconnaissance and reporting module done. I've got a European road trip coming up next week so I should probably shun my shiny new Kindle for the course materials.
If there is anyone reading this who as done the GPEN exam and would like to share some tips on areas to concentrate on I would defiantly welcome the input.
